The Community College Compass

Funded by the National Science Foundation, this project formed a consortium of partners to develop and implement a guided pathway into the Geosciences across community colleges in New York City. Guided pathways are a set of strategies that offer highly structured learning experiences in which they are provided with clear academic and professional goals, cohesive academic programs, and aligned suport.

Founded by the National Science Foundation, this project sought to better understand and promote practices that increase student motivations and capacities to pursue careers in fields of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) through advancing student skills and interest in the area of data science.

Beyond Basic Science

Funded by the National Science Foundation, this project created a research experience for undergraduates and educators. Participants worked through the scientific process to better understand the latest climate change research, gather and analyze data, and communicate findings for relevant stakeholders.
